Born in North Yorkshire, Lucinda studied harp for 10 years under the guidance of Georgina Wells, which lead to studying the harp and being awarded the Harp Scholarship at The University of Hull. At Hull, she studied with Rachel Dent-BMus(Hons) Grad RNCM. She graduated in July 2016 with a 2:1.

 

She has taken part in many masterclasses and residentials in both orchestras and as a soloist, including the Catrin Finch Academy, run by Catrin, a former Royal Harpist, and her first teacher, Elinor Bennett, with 10 other international harpists for two years. More recently, she had the privilege of participating in a masterclass with Claire Jones, another former Royal Harpist and also at her International Harp School down in Cardigan, Wales where she played with the American Youth Harp Ensemble.
